This project will reduce the number and severity of accidents by realigning the curve and widening the lane and shoulder widths.

Recent Progress
This project was advertised for Contractor bids on December 8, 2003.  Bid opening is scheduled for January 14, 2004. 

Design Construction Impacts
Currently there are no impacts anticipated that would affect the delivery date.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
All environmental documents complete; no permits required.

Impacts to Traffic
Daily one-lane closures will be required with brief delays anticipated.
