Placement. A crane operator carefully places a pre-cast pontoon section
next to another section inside the graving dock so they can be put
together for one of the pontoons in the third cycle of pontoon
construction. August 2007.
Laydown. Crews tie rebar into mats in a laydown area outside the graving dock. After the mats are assembled, cranes are used to bring them into the graving dock to be assembled together for the pontoons. August 2007.
