Pre-cast. WSDOT inspects the installation of materials for a pre-cast pontoon section. Construction on pontoons ZC and ZD, part of the third cycle of pontoon construction, began in May outside of the graving dock. July 2007.
Forms. Carpenters complete installing a wood form to prepare for a concrete pour on pontoon ZD. August 2007.
Driving Over. After the pre-cast pontoon sections were complete, crews drive the sections across the street to be set in the graving dock and connected like puzzle pieces to other pontoon sections. August 2007.
