Pontoon Construction In Tacoma

Travel from atop the 140-foot-tall tower crane to underground crawlspaces to see the pontoon construction through the eyes of WSDOT and Kiewit-General engineers and crews.  

These photos illustrate the construction process for building 14 new Hood Canal Bridge pontoons at the 150-foot wide by 465-foot long Concrete Technology graving dock site in Tacoma, Washington.
