Cell Inspections. As water fills the graving dock, inspectors check each and every cell on the three pontoons- searching for any signs of leaks or damage that need to be repaired. December 6, 2006.
Waterline. The water from Blair Waterway fills the graving dock to about 15 feet. This waterline attached to the end of one of the pontoons shows the current draft of the pontoon, or how much of the pontoon is underwater. December 6, 2006.
