Teardrop. Workers place the teardrop form between the inner and outer anchor wall forms. The teardrop form will be removed when the outer wall form is removed. When removed, the teardrop will leave an indentation in the wall and allow the anchor cable to exit the wall and connect up through the pontoon. November 2006.
Anchors on Dry Dock. In the first cycle of anchors, ten anchors are being built: five on the left side and five on the right of the dry dock. November 2006.
Base Slab Pour. Crews place concrete for the two-feet thick anchor base slab. December 2006.
