After years of planning, development and public input, WSDOT is moving forward to implement the $11.8 million closure mitigation plan that will help drivers get where they need to go during the May-June 2009 Hood Canal Bridge closure.
To reiterate the message the Peninsula Regional Transportation and Planning Organization shared with the Hood Canal Bridge Team in July 2006, "This is a good plan; let’s get going; keep the public informed; and, manage to the budget."
