This project installs an electronically controlled automated track switching system at the Tacoma Rail Main Yard.

Recent Progress
WSDOT has met with Tacoma Rail representatives reviewing scope, schedule, risks, and budget for the project.  A charter identifying project roles, stakeholders, goals, risks, and assumptions has been completed and signed off on by all parties.  The project agreement is in the signature process.  The requirements of Executive Order 05-05, Historical & Cultural Resources Review, have been completed.
