Project Description
This project will complete the construction of a transload facility where trucks and containers can be loaded on and off railcars for movement to Puget Sound ports.

Recent Progress
Federal grant agreement completed September 8, 2005. WSDOT holding contract signed by port on October 3, 2005, while start of operations issues and BNSF freight schedule issues are resolved.

This project installs equipment necessary for operation of the transload facility.

No environmental impacts are foreseen at this time.

Occasional truck access to Port of Quincy property from local roads.
