This photo, taken from Fourth Avenue looking south, shows the new main line track under construction. Once the new main line is completed, the existing main line tracks will become lead tracks for Amtrak and Sound Transit commuter trains arriving and departing the station. Freight trains will use the new main line and pass through the area with fewer delays.
