The Department of Transportation has refined its project management process for delivering Capital Transportation projects. This process includes "best practices", tools, templates and examples and will enhance the communication process for both pre-construction and construction project management.

The WSDOT Project Management Online Guide provides guidance and tools for performing project management functions on WSDOT projects.
To access the the Project Management Online Guide simply choose which phase your project is in, either Pre-Construction or Construction. A short tutorial is available to lead you through the Online Guide.
The Online Guide is a linked information network comprised ofthe five step WSDOT Project Management process.
Activity Guides provide definition, step-by-step directions, guidelines, and access to various samples and templates for performing each element of the WSDOT Project Management process.
Process Maps describe the sequence and flow of activities within each of the five project management steps.
There is a variety of Tools available to help people in creating a project management plan.
