|
Publishing public notice of call for bids as prescribed by statute. Request for Proposal: A legal notice for solicitation of consulting services. The proposal solicitation (project, task, or service) process shall be by public announcement, advertisement, or any other method that assures qualified in-State and out-of-State consultants are given a fair opportunity to be considered for award of the contract. Price shall not be used as a factor in the analysis and selection phase.

The advertisement and approved plans and specifications shall be available to bidders a minimum of 3 weeks prior to opening of bids except that shorter periods may be approved by the Division Administrator in special cases when justified. Advertising periods typically range from 6-10 weeks.
