This project builds about 1.8 miles of HOV lanes in each direction of I-5 from Port of Tacoma Road to the King County line. The new HOV lanes will be built in the highway median and will cause only minimal disruption to traffic during construction.
Construction is currently scheduled to begin in the fall of 2009 and end in 2012.
