Northbound traffic shifted to the right, onto the future collector-distributor lanes, to get traffic around bridge demolition work. This shift leaves the regular northbound lanes vacant between M Street and I-705.
April 2007
Southbound traffic will be shifted into the regular northbound lanes to allow crews to demolish the north end of the three bridges.
Summer 2007
Tacoma Avenue, Delin Street and Yakima Avenue bridges are completely removed and construction begins on two new bridges.
Late Summer, Early Fall 2007
Northbound and southbound traffic return to regular lanes. Ramp from 38th Street to northbound I-5 reopens.
January 2008
New bridges complete.
Spring 2008
Project complete.
