This I-90 project will strengthen and extend the service life of the pavement in the westbound lanes by installing steel dowel bars in the wheel paths between panels for the right lanes. Severely cracked panels will be replaced and crews will grind the roadway surface to improve the ride and extend the pavement life. The project will restore signing, striping and other basic safety features.
