Overview
Heavy traffic with a high percentage of studded tire use severely rutted the surface of Interstate 90 in downtown Spokane. Since it was resurfaced in 1985-1986, traffic on the section of freeway has doubled. This project included removing the existing, rutted concrete pavement surface, repairing bridge joints, and repaving with Portland Cement Concrete Pavement.
