The roundabout will increase the capacity of the I-90/SR 202 intersection. Traffic exiting eastbound I-90 currently backs-up onto the freeway because there is not enough space for drivers waiting to make a left towards the North Bend business sector. A roundabout is ideal for this location because roundabouts process a high volume of left turns better then a multi-phased signal or four-way stop.
