I-90 - SR 202 I/C to S Fork Snoqualmie River - Paving - Complete September 2016

Aging pavement was repaired near the SR 202 bridge near North Bend.

WSDOT contractor crews repaved and restriped both directions of I-90 from South Fork Snoqualmie River to SR 202 near North Bend.

Five new concrete panels and new rumble strips were also installed.

Removing cracks, potholes and wheel ruts reduces the chance for water to pool on the roadway, creating a safer and smoother ride for drivers.

The new pavement will reduce the need for maintenance and emergency road repairs, saving money long term.

WSDOT worked closely with the cities of Snoqualmie and North Bend during the project.
