WSDOT contractor crews repaved more than 4 miles of westbound I-90 between Lake Sammamish and the I-405 interchange in spring and summer 2016 to remove cracks, wheel ruts and potholes.
Repairing the pavement creates a smoother and safer drive.
New striping improves visibility for drivers, especially at night.
| Economic Incentive
Repairing the pavement reduces the need for emergency repairs, which saves time and money in the long run.
Partnerships & Cooperation
WSDOT worked closely with Issaquah, Bellevue and Metro Transit during the project.
