Project Description
Installs 2.4 miles of precast median barrier to prevent vehicles from crossing the median and entering into opposing lanes of traffic

Recent Progress

The project was advertised July 19, 2004, two months ahead of schedule and awarded August 18, 2004 for $501,797.  This amount was 3.29% over the Engineers estimate.   Work began on September 13, 2004 and is expected to take about 6 to 8 weeks to complete.

Impacts to Traffic

Some lane closures will be necessary.   Lane closures will be required to provide a buffer between the traveling public and the Contractor's operations.
