Overview
We replaced 13 freeway exit signs on westbound I-90 in the Eastgate area of Bellevue to improve sign clarity, helping unfamiliar drivers reach their destination more easily.
The signs on westbound I-90 in this area were very old and had lost reflectivity. By replacing the signs and revising the layout and messaging, we were able to improve communication to drivers and comply with current federal guidelines.
Project timeline
- January 2011: Complete sign designs
