Project Description
This project constructs a new bridge across the Cowlitz River from State Route 411 in Lexington to I-5 at the existing Ostrander Road interchange (exit 42). This is a partnership project with Cowlitz County.

Recent Progress
The Biological Assement work has begun. Last month concurrance was recieved from the Cowlitz tribe for the Area of Potential Effect. This month the State Historic Preservation Office gave concurrance for the Area of Potential Effect. The Area of Potential Effect is an estimate of the ground that could possibly be disturbed by any of the project activities.

At this time there are no known design issues that will impact the scope, schedule, or budget for this project.

Impacts to Traffic
For the most part, construction impacts will be off the existing roadway system. Some minor impacts may occur with activities such as project materials delivery.
