New bridge between I-5 and SR 411

Project Description
This project constructs a new bridge across the Cowlitz River from State Route 411 in Lexington to I-5 at the existing Ostrander Road interchange (exit 42). This is a partnership project with Cowlitz County.

Recent Progress

Design is 100% complete. Environmental work and right of way acquisition are nearing completion. Access documents have been sent to FHWA for concurrence.

Design Construction Impacts

At this time there are no known design issues that will impact the scope, schedule or budget for this project.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance

A noise study has identified noise impacts which may be mitigated with a noise wall. No wetland impacts have been identified. Environmental work is nearing completion.

Impacts to Traffic
For the most part, construction impacts will be off the existing roadway system. Some minor impacts may occur with activities such as materials delivery.
