New bridge between I-5 and SR 411

Project Description
This project constructs a new bridge across the Cowlitz River from State Route 411 in Lexington to I-5 at the existing Ostrander Road interchange (exit 42). This is a partnership project with Cowlitz County.

Berger / Abam Engineers

Recent Progress
 A "modified Access Decision Report," addressing proposed changes to the existing I-5/Ostrander Road Interchange, has been prepared for review by WSDOT and the Federal Highway Administration. Environmental work is nearing completion.

Design Construction Impacts

At this time there are no known design issues that will impact the scope, schedule or budget for this project.

Impacts and compliance requirements not yet determined.

Impacts to Traffic
For the most part, construction impacts will be off the existing roadway system. Some minor impacts may occur with activities such as materials delivery.
