I-5 - South 317th Street HOV Direct Access - October 2004

Crews finished paving the I-5 median October 1. In a couple of weeks, southbound I-5 traffic will be shifted to this temporary roadway.

Construction has begun on a new retaining wall just south of the South 317th Street bridge abutment on the west side of the freeway. The rebar has been placed, and concrete for the wall footing will be poured into the wood forms at the bottom.
