In the foreground is the rebar shell of one of the two piers that will support the bridge over southbound I-5 at South 317th. In the background crews are grading for a temporary roadway in the median. We'll shift traffic to the median this fall to make room for bridge construction.
Crews are excavating for a detention pond on the east side of I-5 just south of Military Road. When complete, the pond will help capture and clean stormwater runoff. The project includes four new detention ponds.
