WSDOT contractor crews repaved about 12 miles of northbound I-5 in Whatcom County between the Nooksack River and Blaine. This project also repaved several on- and off-ramps in this stretch of I-5.
Removing cracks, potholes and wheel ruts reduces the chance for water to pool on the roadway, creating a safer and smoother ride for drivers.
