Concrete barrier separates the southbound lanes of I-5 from the shoulder so crews can build the noise wall and weave lane without impacting traffic.
The southbound lanes of I-5 were shifted over towards the median and
concrete barrier was laid down to close off the shoulder.  Crews can work
safely in the shoulder to build the noise wall and weave lane between
Ohio Street and Lakeway Drive without impacting traffic.

Crew demolish an abandoned house
Crews remove an abandoned house above the southbound I-5 Lakeway
Drive exit to make room for widening and realigning the exit.  The new wider, realigned exit will help prevent traffic from backing up onto I-5 and causing congestion.

The trees and shrubs between I-5 and King Street were cleared to make room for the new weave lane and noise wall.
