Broken concrete panels on I-5.   Cracked concrete panel on I-5.
Crews use a machine to cut slots in the concrete and insert the dowel bars.   Slots cut in the concrete for the dowel bars.
Dowel bars are sections of rebar coated with plastic   Crews remove concrete panels when they need to be replaced.
