Contractor/Consultant
Project has not been advertised or awarded.

Recent Progress
A meeting has been arranged for the first week of June with Materials lab to evaluate the panels and see if they need to be replaced .  Wetlands have been flagged and surveyed to assess wetland impacts that may arise from safety improvements that will be made at the Slater Road interchange.

Design Construction Impacts

Maintenance has identified additional panels that may need to be replaced in the vicinity of Slater Rd. I/C for both N and S bound I-5 lanes.  WSDOT Materials lab will need to make recommendation for the additional work and the appropriate fix.  Program Management will be given a cost estimate for this additional work for their approval.  Project limits need to be extended to accommodate the added work in the north bound lane to Silver Creek vicinity and south bound lane to include NW Ave Interchange.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Surveying the wetlands in this stage of the project will help ensure that we meet the current advertisement date for the project.

Impacts to Traffic

We are just beginning the project design.  Impacts from the design and construction are not known yet.
