Crews will resurface almost four miles of southbound I-5 from SR 531 to the Stillaguamish River bridge and one mile of northbound I-5 near the Stillaguamish River bridge. They will also resurface the southbound I-5 on and off-ramps at SR 530 and the northbound and southbound Smokey Point rest areas.
To maximize our resources and limit interruptions to traffic, we try to repave roadways at just the right time. We try to catch roadways when they have some damage, but are not so damaged that they will require additional repairs.
