Recent Progress
Preliminary engineering work for Stage 1 is complete. The project was awarded to Wilder Construction Company in early April. The design team is hosting two construction information session on June 5 and June 7 and continues to coordinate with neighbors in the form of e-mail, telephone, and on-site visits to answer questions about the project.
The team met the 30% submittal date for Stage 2 design work on March 31, 2008 and will involve the community in a polling process to determine support for a wall in this location this summer. The team will continue to monitor Sound Transit’s plans for the North Link light rail project that is proposed to be built in the same area.
