On June 8, 2007 we sent polls to property owners behind noise walls 2, 3 and 4 that were within 500 feet of the edge of the traveled lane of I-5. Below are the final results of the polls and the percentage of eligible voters who returned ballots. This poll will help us determine community support for the proposed noise walls before we proceed with design and construction.
Wall 2: between N 85th Street and NE 92nd Street on the west side of I-5
- We received ballots from 57 percent of eligible voters behind wall 2.
- 95 percent of the votes received support construction of the noise wall.
Wall 3: between N 82nd Street and N 80th Street on the west side of I-5
- We received ballots from 68 percent of eligible voters behind wall 3.
- 94 percent of the votes support construction of the noise wall.
Wall 4: between N 80th Street and 5th Ave NE on the west side of I-5
- We received ballots from 56 percent of eligible voters behind wall 4.
- 95 percent of the votes support construction of the noise wall.
