Neighbors and WSDOT staff gathered on Saturday, April 18, to celebrate the completion of Stage 1 of the I-5 / 5th Avenue NE to NE 92nd Street Noise Wall Project. Thanks to everyone who attended the event!
We brought our video camera to the party and uploaded the video to YouTube.

Plan for a nighttime ramp closure next week
On Monday, May 4, crews plan to close the southbound I-5 exit to NE 80th Street near Wall 3 to return the traffic barrier to its original location. We'll begin the closure at 9 p.m. on Monday, May 4 and re-open the ramp to drivers by 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5.
The N. 85th Street exit from southbound I-5 will remain open during the closure. However, drivers heading eastbound on N. 85th Street to NE 80th Street via Corliss Way N. (adjacent to the I-5 exit-ramp) will be detoured.
