I-205/Mill Plain Exit - 112th Ave Connector

Project Description
This project will provide a direct connection to NE 112th Avenue from the off ramp of northbound I-205 to westbound Mill Plain Boulevard. It is a partnership project with the City of Vancouver.

Selby Bridge Company, Vancouver, WA  

Recent Progress

Construction is progressing well. The top deck and post tensioning has been completed for the box girder spans (3 to 7) of the bridge. The pre-stressed girders will be set on span 1 and 2 in June with the final deck pour anticipated for July. The MSE walls are nearly complete and the work on the City street (Chaklov) is nearly complete. The majority of the paving for I-205 and new ramps is scheduled to take place at the end of June and July.


Design Construction Impacts
This project consists of a new on ramp bridge over a modified off-ramp.  A new intersection will provide direct access from I-205 to NE 112th Avenue.  Ramp traffic will be detoured on temporary ramp alignments during construction.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Environmental documentation, for this project and the I-205/Mill Plain to NE 18th St. Project was completed in July 2007.

Impacts to Traffic
There will be impacts during construction, including ramp closures.  Anticipate minimal impacts to Interstate 205 and moderate impacts to Mill Plain Blvd and 112th Ave.  Traffic impacts will be updated on a weekly basis and will be available for the public on the Travel Advisory web page and local
newspapers.
