Project Description
This project will provide a direct connection to NE 112th Avenue from the off ramp of northbound I-205 to westbound Mill Plain Boulevard. It is a partnership project with the City of Vancouver.

Recent Progress
The city of Vancouver has hired Skillings-Connolly Inc. as the design engineers. The city is responsible for the design phase of the project, with WSDOT providing general oversight. Skillings-Connolly is continuing design work. A 60% plan review was completed in May. Design work is anticipated to be complete by September 2005. WSDOT will administer the construction phase of the project. The start of construction is contingent on the Access Hearing and Noise Study being completed, which are on hold pending an analysis of independent utility between the newly funded I205/Mill Plain to NE 28th St project and this project.

Design Construction Impacts
There are no known design issues that will impact the scope or budget for this project at this time. There is a potential schedule impact due to the access hearing and noise study being on hold, which would result in a right of way and advertisement delay.
