Closures will occur on Monday, Oct. 5 and Tuesday, Oct. 6. and are necessary for crews to grind out deteriorating pavement and repave the roadway. Three detours will be available during the closures:
- Main detour route – Drivers may use SE 136th Avenue and NE 18th Street to access NE 112th Avenue. This route will be signed to direct motorists around the closure area.
- Local residents and business detour route – Drivers may use NE 120th Avenue to NE 118th Avenue, and NE 9th Avenue to access NE 112th Avenue. This route will be signed to direct motorists around the closure area.
- Local apartment residents and hotel detour route – Drivers may use NE 117th Avenue to NE 115th Avenue to access NE 112th Avenue.
As a fourth option, drivers may consider using I-205 northbound to SR 500 eastbound, accessing NE 112th Avenue north of the closure.
