I-205 / Mill Plain Interchange to NE 18th Street

Project Description
This project will improve safety and mobility in the area by constructing a new I-205 northbound off-ramp and southbound on-ramp at NE 18th Street and providing grade separated ramp connections.

Contractor/Consultant

Recent Progress
NEPA was completed in 2007.  One stormwater facility property has been acquired.  Design activities will commence in 2009-2011.

Design Construction Impacts
Construction is currently scheduled for spring/summer of 2014 through 2016.  Impacts are anticipated at Mill Plain, 9th Street, 18th Street and I-205.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Environmental documentation for this project and the I-205 Mill Plain Exit-112th Connector was completed in August 2007.

Impacts to Traffic
The design team will generate effective staging plans to minimize construction impacts to the traveling public. To be further evaluated as the design advances.
