WSDOT added a second left-turn lane to southbound Mill Plain Boulevard off-ramp. The additional left-turn lane is helping reduce traffic backup by increasing capacity for vehicles waiting to turn left. The new lane also helps reduce the amount of rear-end collisions. The end result is an improved overall flow of traffic on the ramp and minimized risk of impact to the freeway.
