Project Description
This project will reduce the severity of run-off-the-road accidents at this location by adding a widened and flattened slope on the outside of the loop ramp carrying traffic from westbound I-182 to southbound US 395.

Recent Progress

Construction on this project started September 2, 2003 and was completed on September 18, 2003.  The anticipated construction cost for this project is $76,222, 24% below the engineers’ estimate of $100,011.

Design Construction Impacts

There were no Design or Construction impacts on this project. 

Environmental Impacts / Compliance

There were no Environmental impacts on this project.  The slope protection rock was placed on the new slope immediately after it was constructed and seeding took place a week later.

Impacts to Traffic

The ramp shoulders were closed during the duration of this project with little impact to traffic.
