US 97, Tonasket-Bonapart Creek Bridge Deck

Schedule: Good The contract included 21 calendar days to complete the project and work was finished in 16. Cost: Good Engineer's estimate: $153,568 Contractor's bid amount: $153,508 Final payment: $152,463 The final cost is the result of an underrun in the amount of bridge deck repair that was needed. This bridge was in better condition than anticipated which resulted in a cost savings.

This project repaired and paved the Bonapart Creek Bridge on US 97 in the town of Tonasket, which is located a few miles south of the busy Oroville Border Crossing in northern Okanogan County. Early completion of the project resulted in a substantial reduction in delays to the traveling public and impacts to local businesses.
