Euclid Ave. Administration Facility Consolidation Project

Status

August 2017

  • Construction began on the New Region Office site at Old's Station April 24.
  • The project design/build contract was awarded to Garco Const. Inc. of Spokane on October 3, 2016. Construction began in April of 2017 and should be completed March 31, 2018. At that time the IT cabling/hardware and furniture installation will occur with occupancy expected in late May 2018.
  • The project is currently on schedule and on budget.

A new North Central Region Administration Building is the final phase of the master plan development of the North Central Region Complex at Euclid Avenue. When the move is complete in 2018, the current Wenatchee Avenue Region Office property can be sold and returned to the City of Wenatchee tax roll.

Why is WSDOT Consolidating the region administration office and the project engineering office?
This project constructs a new Region office housing both the RO staff and the Project Engineering office staff. The current 1930’s era administration building is in poor condition and prohibitively expensive to renovate. The project engineering modular offices were only intended to be temporary when acquired in 1984.

Consolidation of headquarters administration and project engineering office staff into one building.

Project Benefits
Collocated with other staff, facilities and functions will save WSDOT money by greatly improving efficiency.
