Grind centerline rumble strips along 170 miles of state highway.
This project installed rumble strips on the following highway sections:
SR 26/US 395 to Colfax (MP 61-133)
SR 27/Pullman to Spokane Valley (MP 0-82)
SR 127/Snake River to Dusty (MP 10-27)
Centerline rumble strips are a proven low-cost method of dramatically reducing cross-over collisions by alerting inattentive drivers when they are crossing into oncoming traffic.
