It’s quick and easy to establish a Good To Go! account. Have your vehicle(s) make, model, year, and license plate number(s) ready to enter into the form. A credit card is necessary to establish an account on-line. Those wishing to set up an account with cash, check, or debit card can do so in person at the Good To Go! customer service centers.
Businesses, government agencies, and others with large fleets of vehicles that cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge are encouraged to save both time and money by establishing Good To Go! commercial accounts.
Washington Drivers are Good To Go!
As of December 26, 2007, a total of 89,839 Good To Go! accounts had been established, with over 213,000 transponders distributed. This is over four times the number expected to be distributed and is among the highest penetration rates ever seen in a new toll facility. The unprecedented popularity of the Good To Go! program finds nearly 96% of all households in Gig Harbor with Good To Go! accounts and high usage among other residents of the area. Account Privacy
Each transponder is assigned a unique number that is linked to a specific customer account. Any and all personal data is kept as confidential information in compliance with current laws. The radio frequency identity (RFID) chips used in Good To Go! transponders do not hold any personal information, only a number that matches to a customer’s prepaid account, but not the account number itself. The system is protected by WSDOT and TransCore computer networks security and payment information is encrypted. RCW 46.63.160 and RCW 42.56.330 contain specific information regarding these laws.
Under no circumstances will individual Good To Go! customer information be disclosed to any for use in telemarketing, direct mail marketing or other marketing through electronic mail to customers:
Information collected by TransCore relative to an individual’s Good To Go! account and/or usage shall only be released:
- To the identified recipient in a bona fide court order/subpoena for information,
- At the request of authorized law enforcement officials/agencies in the conduct of criminal investigations,
- At the request of the registered Good To Go! account holder with proper identification,
- To Washington State Patrol and/or Washington State Department of Licensing efforts in collection of unpaid tolls.
- Dissemination of customer usage information, in aggregate form and not containing any personally identifying information, will be made available when a formal written request made, to assist in transportation research.
