The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Communications & Wireless Technology office provides communications system planning, analysis and design. It also provides site, project and asset management.
What does the ITS Communications office do?
- Provides engineering services (Path and Interference analysis) for wireless applications
- System design and documentation
- State Interpretability Executive Committee (SIEC) point of contact for wireless applications and license activity
- Design last mile connectivity to ITS devices
- Project management of the wireless activity
- Coordinate regional radio staff
- Inventory ITS device connectivity
