We will install three travel time signs at key decision points on Interstate 5. The signs will provide real-time travel information to help drivers decide which route to take to their destinations.

I-5 /SR 104: Central King to South Snohomish Bridges #7591

Crews will retrofit 19 bridges on or near I-5 from central King County to South Snohomish County . Six of these bridges are in Tukwila, and 13 are located in Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood. These retrofits will bring all 19 bridges up to current seismic standards.

WSDOT and Sound Transit will build a bus station in the median of I-5 at 236th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace. The station will have bus-only ramp connections to the I-5 HOV lanes. .

We will repave more than nine miles of northbound I-5 from 52nd Avenue W in Lynnwood to SR 526 just south of Everett. We will also repave one mile of SR 525 just north of Lynnwood and the on- and off-ramps at 44th Avenue West, SR 525, I-405 and SR 526.

Crews will improve access to and from Interstate 5 at State Route 531 (172nd Street NE) by building a new two-lane loop ramp, adding turn lanes and widening existing ramps at the interchange of I-5 and SR 531.

I-5: Marysville to Stillaguamish River Vicinity - Median Barrier #7752

WSDOT will install concrete median barrier along a 10-mile stretch of northbound I-5 in the Marysville area and remove the existing low-tension cable median barrier. We will leave the existing southbound cable barrier in place to provide redundant protection. We will also widen the median shoulders to 10 feet, bringing them up to current standards.
- Monday, November 23 - the morning of Wednesday, November 25 - Crews will close up to two lanes of northbound I-5 at 88th Street from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for barrier work.

I-5 - 196th Street S.W. Interchange (Pedestrian Improvements) #SA3346

This is a stimulus-funded pedestrian improvement project. The City of Lynnwood and WSDOT will improve safety for pedestrians and bicyclists at the I-5/196th Street SW interchange by building a separated pedestrian walkway.
- Until further notice: There is a temporary concrete barrier that is partially blocking the right lane of eastbound SW 196th Street just after the southbound I-5 off-ramp. The lane reopens just before Poplar Way.
- Monday, November 23 - Crews will close the right lane of eastbound SR 524 at the I-5 interchange from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for barrier work.
- Monday, November 23 - Crews will close the ramp from southbound I-5 to SR 524 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for construction.

SR 9

WSDOT will improve safety and reduce congestion on SR 9 between 176th Street and Marsh Road by widening the roadway and adding turn lanes at the busiest intersections.
- Monday, November 23 - the morning of Wednesday, November 25 - Crews will alternate one way traffic at the intersections of SR9/Marsh, SR9/Broadway, SR 9/152nd Street, and SR 9/164th Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for striping. This work is weather dependent.
- Tuesday, November 24 - Crews will close the right lane of southbound SR 9 at 164th Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for illumination and signal work.

SR 9: Lake Stevens Road to 20th Street SE, #MS5998

Using WSDOT funding, Snohomish County will widen SR 9 and provide right-turning vehicles with their own lane at 20th Street SE and left-turning vehicles with a double left-turn lane. Crews working for Snohomish County will replace the current bridge over Centennial Creek with a new, wider bridge to accommodate the wider roadway.
- Until further notice:. 94th Drive SE will be closed at 20th Street SE around the clock for construction. The left turn lanes will be closed from eastbound and westbound 20th Street SE to both directions of SR 9. Left turns from 20th Street SE onto SR 9 will be prohibited. Please follow detour routes.

WSDOT will address a variety of safety and congestion issues by building a wider bridge to replace the General Mark Clark Bridge, adding turn lanes at numerous intersections and installing a truck climbing lane at three select locations.
- Thursday, November 19 - the morning of Saturday, November 21 - Crews will alternate on SR 532 between 12th Avenue NW and 28th Avenue NW for striping. Thursday night's work will be from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and Friday night's work will be from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Please watch for crews working near the road and expect minor delays. This work is weather dependent.
