  • Monday, Feb. 4 to the morning of Thursday, Feb. 7 - Crews will close up to three out of five lanes of northbound I-5 from South 308th Street to South 260th Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for pavement repairs.
  • Thursday, Feb. 7 to the morning of Friday, Feb. 8 - Crews will close up to three out of four lanes of southbound I-5 from Northeast Ravenna Boulevard to East Roanoke Street, and the southbound I-5 off-ramp to Northeast 50th Street from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement repairs.
  • DRIVER ALERT, Friday, Feb. 8 to the morning of Saturday, Feb. 9 - Crews will close up to three out of four lanes of southbound I-5 from Northeast Ravenna Boulevard to the I-5 Ship Canal Bridge, and the Northeast Ravenna Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-5 from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for pavement repairs.

I-5 express lanes schedule changes

WSDOT typically operates the I-5 express lanes during the weekdays in the southbound direction from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. and northbound from 11:15 a.m. to 11 p.m. The weekend schedule operates southbound from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and northbound from 1:45 to 11 p.m.

  • Sunday, Feb. 3 - The carpool lane from the Corson Avenue/Michigan Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for guardrail repair.

  • Monday, Feb. 4 to the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 5 - The right lane of northbound I-5 near Northgate will be closed from 10 p.m. to midnight to install road sensors. At midnight, the lane will reopen and the four left lanes of northbound I-5 near Northgate will close. Two lanes will close on the mainline just south of Northgate and continue north to where the closure will be expanded to include the two lanes from the express lanes. The right lane will remain open. All lanes will reopen by 4:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 5 to the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 6 - One lane of the Northgate Way on-ramp to northbound I-5 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for installation of road sensors.
