  • Tuesday, May 28 to the morning of Thursday, May 30 - Crews will close up to three lanes of northbound I-5 at South 308th Street to South 260th Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for construction work. The first lane will close at 8 p.m., the second at 9 p.m. and the third at 10 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. each day. Work is weather dependent.

  • Thursday, May 30 to the morning of Friday, May 31- Crews will close up to three lanes of northbound I-5 from the Ship Canal bridge to Northeast 45th Street from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for construction work. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane at 10 p.m. and the third lane at 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Work is weather dependent.
  • Thursday, May 30 to the morning of Friday, May 31 - Crews will close up to three lanes of southbound I-5 from Northgate through the University District starting at 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. for construction work. Work is weather dependent.

  • Tuesday, May 28 to the morning of Wednesday, May 29 - Crews will close the northbound I-5 on-ramp at South 188th Street for meter work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Wednesday, May 29 to the morning of Thursday, May 30 - Crews will close the southbound I-5 on-ramp at South 188th Street for meter work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Thursday, May 30 to the morning of Friday, May 31 - Crews will close the southbound I-5 on-ramp at South 200th Street for meter work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Monday, June 3 to the morning of Tuesday, June 4 - Crews will close the southbound I-5 on-ramp at South 272nd Street for meter work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Tuesday, June 4 to the morning of Wednesday, June 5 - Crews will close the northbound I-5 on-ramp at South 272nd Street for meter work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

I-5 express lanes schedule changes

WSDOT typically operates the I-5 express lanes during the weekdays in the southbound direction from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. and northbound from 11:15 a.m. to 11 p.m. The weekend schedule operates southbound from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and northbound from 1:45 to 11 p.m.

  • Wednesday, May 22 to the morning of Friday, May 24- Crews will close one lane of southbound I-5 at James Street from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for electrical and sign work.
