I-90 Express lanes schedule
The express lanes operate on a schedule to assist the flow of traffic during busy travel times. These lanes are scheduled to move in the direction that will relieve the most congestion from the transportation system.
- Saturday, May 26 - The express lanes will close to eastbound traffic at 5 a.m. and open westbound at 6 a.m. due to a baseball game. The lanes will close at 4:30 p.m. and reopen to eastbound traffic by 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday, May 27 - The express lanes will close to east bound traffic at 5 a.m. and open westbound at 6 a.m. due to a baseball game. The lanes will close at 2 p.m. and reopen to eastbound traffic by 3 p.m.
- Monday, May 28 - The express lanes will operate on the regular weekend schedule: they will be open in the eastbound direction until 11:59 p.m. and will open westbound at 1 a.m. Tuesday.
- Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3 - The express lanes will close to eastbound traffic at 5 a.m. daily and reopen in the westbound direction at 6 a.m. due to the weekend closure of the SR 520 bridge. The lanes will remain westbound until 2 p.m., when they will close and reopen to eastbound traffic by 3 p.m. daily.
- Saturday, June 9 - The express lanes will close to eastbound traffic at 7:30 a.m. and reopen westbound at 8:30 a.m. due to a baseball game at Safeco Field. The lanes will close at 4:30 p.m. and reopen to eastbound traffic by 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday, June 10 - The express lanes will close to eastbound traffic at 7:30 a.m. and reopen westbound at 8:30 a.m. due to a baseball game at Safeco Field. The lanes will close at 2 p.m. and reopen to eastbound traffic by 3 p.m.

- Tuesday, May 29 to the morning of Friday, June 1 - Crews will close the two right lanes of eastbound I-90 from 80th Avenue Southeast to the Mercer Slough, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for striping. This work is weather-dependent.

- Friday, May 25 - Crews will close the left lane of westbound I-90 at SR 18 from 7 a.m to noon for paving.
- Tuesday, May 29 to Sunday, June 10 - Crews will reduce westbound I-90 at SR 18 to two lanes around-the-clock for bridge deck rehabilitation work. There will also be two full closures of all westbound lanes. Please see the road closure schedule:
- DRIVER ALERT! Tuesday, May 29 - Crews will close all westbound lanes at 11 p.m. to prepare for the traffic shift. Drivers will be detoured to the SR 18 off-ramp and re-enter I-90 using the SR 18 on-ramp.
- Wednesday, May 30 - Westbound I-90 will reopen at 5 a.m. Two lanes will be open around-the-clock.
- DRIVER ALERT! Sunday, June 3 - Crews will close all westbound lanes at 11 p.m. to perform another traffic shift. Drivers will be detoured to the SR 18 off-ramp and re-enter I-90 using the SR 18 on-ramp.
- Monday, June 4 - Westbound I-90 will reopen at 5 a.m. Two lanes will be open around-the-clock.
