WSDOT crews are conducting emergency drill work on the unstable slope south of the Dan Evans Bridge over the Green River on SR 169. The bridge is too unstable to allow traffic on the northbound lane.

- Wednesday, July 9 - SR 900 and S 129th Street - Crews will close the left turn lane at the intersection of southbound SR 900 and S 129th Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to repair traffic detector loops.
- Thursday, July 10 - I-5 and S 188th Street - Crews will close the right turn lane of westbound S 188th Street and I-5 interchange from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to repair traffic detector loops.
Until further notice: A traffic signal at each end of the bridge will alternately direct traffic into one lane until the bridge is stable enough to support traffic in both lanes.

- Crews will close up to two right lanes on westbound I-90 from East Mercer Way to 76th Avenue for landscape irrigation work. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 11 p.m. Both lanes will re-open by 5 a.m.
- Note: The City of Mercer Island will conduct intermittent lane and shoulder closures in the vicinity of the East Mercer Way and I-90 on and off ramps between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for signal system work.

- Crews will close the westbound I-90 HOV lane from the East Channel Bridge to East Mercer Way from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly to relocate an existing sign bridge.

Crews will replace a culvert under I-405 in Renton that was damaged in the Dec. 3 storm. First, crews installed a pump and pipe system to divert Thunder Hills Creek away from the damaged culvert. Next, crews will then use a hydraulic jack to install a new culvert.

WSDOT is iimproving connections for ferry and freight traffic to the Port of Seattle terminals and the central waterfront area. The city of Kenmore will make several improvements to SR 522 between 73rd Avenue NE and the east city limits, including adding new traffic signals and sidewalks, widening SR 522 for business access and transit lanes, and replacing the Swamp Creek Bridge.
- Until further notice: Crews shifted traffic lanes between 80th Ave. NE and 83rd Place NE. for paving and utility work. The middle two-way turn lane and the left turn and U-turn at 83rd Place NE is closed a result of the traffic shift. A detour route is provided.
