Bellingham to Blaine: I-5 traffic cameras
We will install 15.5 miles of new fiber optic cable, 21 new traffic cameras and 14 traffic data stations between Bellingham and Blaine.

State Route 9
Arlington: SR 9 - SR 531/172nd St NE intersection improvements
We widened SR 9 and SR 531 in the vicinity of the intersection and built a roundabout to improve safety and relieve congestion. The project also included underground utility work in partnership with the city of Arlington.

Arlington: SR 9 - Pilchuck Creek bridge replacement
We will replace the narrow, single-lane bridge with a wider, two-lane bridge and realign the highway to improve safety for drivers.

We will scale loose rocks off the hillside above SR 20 to help prevent rocks from falling into the ditch and onto the highway.
